The Penny Hoarder, one of the largest financial advice websites in the world, hired Empire Office to furnish the company’s 18,000 sf office in St. Petersburg, FL. A variety of furniture pieces, sound masking technology and art features were selected for the private offices, workstations, company lounge, reception and a variety of open collaborative spaces. The Tampa Bay Business Journal awarded The Penny Hoarder “Coolest Office Space” in 2018.

Empire completed the new Xenia Hotels & Resorts office in downtown Orlando. Xenia owns a diversified portfolio of high-quality lodging properties operated by industry leaders such as Marriott, Hyatt, and Hilton. Empire’s dual locations in Tampa and Orlando ensured Empire had the product solutions and resources to complete the job as requested. A variety of products were chosen to furnish the space such as Steelcase workstations and private offices, Arta conference tables and a custom boardroom table, Allermuir café stools and chairs, Encore soft seating, and 9to5 task and conference chairs.

Mercedes-Benz Corporate parterned with Empire Office to develop and implement a new set of furniture standards for their 250 U.S. dealerships. Empire worked closely with the owners of each dealership to create specifications for every area of the dealership, including reception, sales managers’ offices, back office administration, waiting area and cafe. At this Englewood location, the focus was on ensuring a brand experience consistent with the other Mercedes dealerships across the country while also creating a unique space to fit the needs of its local clientele.

Discovery Day Academy wanted to design a space that was flexible and visually engaging to meet the needs of their 21st century learners. Empire Office, together with the team from Steelcase Education, provided products that aligned with the school’s pedagogy and the educational innovations they were seeking for their new campus. With the school’s vision in mind, Empire helped Discovery Day Academy select colors, fabrics and finishes that fit within their overall design aesthetic and best represented the school.

IHS Markit, a global financial information and services company, decided to make the move to the west side of Manhattan at Hudson Yards. With the desire to create a more open and collaborative environment, Empire worked with Markit and its design firm to create an open plan benching concept with neighborhoods of private offices and conference rooms. The space also featured a full café and bright game room, as well as generous ancillary spaces for employees to connect with one another.

Sixt, the global leading car rental provider, consulted Empire Office and Citron Design Group in the relocation of their West Coast HQ. The new headquarters is a true embodiment of the brand, containing splashes of their signature orange throughout the space. Empire led the tear-down, reconfiguration, and move of the existing workstations from the old HQ to the new space. The open workspace features Bivi workstations, Universal and Ology private offices, as well as ancillary touch down spaces throughout the café, collaboration areas, and outdoor courtyard.

For this on-going phased re-stack of 8 floors, Empire Office provided all project management, furniture, delivery and installation services for the New York City headquarters of S&P Global. With over 20 manufacturers used (including Gunlocke, Bernhardt & Andreu World), the colorful and fresh workspace features ‘ideation’ spaces, private offices, collaboration booths, phone rooms and multiple conference rooms for multipurpose use. Additional amenities include large and small pantries, a game room and a wellness room.
